Sauviinmäki & Savineva (Haapajärvi)

In production

In 2012, Infinergies Finland Oy began planning the Sauviinmäki (Haapajärvi I) and Savineva (Haapajärvi II) wind power projects in Haapajärvi, Northern Ostrobothnia. The first part of the wind farm, consisting of 2 wind turbines in Sauviinmäki, was completed in June 2015, and the Savineva extension, consisting of 7 wind turbines, was put into operation at the end of 2017. The combined installed capacity of both wind farms is approximately 30 MW, and they produce an estimated maximum of approximately 151 GWh of emission-free, renewable energy per year. This corresponds to annual electricity consumption of nearly 8000 electrically heated four-member households living in detached houses, each with an average energy consumption of 19 000 kWh per year.

This project was realised in cooperation with ABO Energy Finland Oy.
